Lijiang's Huaping county: Celebrate harvest in autumn

Mangos in Huaping county are ripe for harvest, Xinhua.net reported. Statistics show that the Nongxin mango plant professional cooperative has altogether 187 farms with a total mango growing area of 733 hectares. So far, 150 farmers’ mango trees have entered the fruiting period. Also, local farmers have opened mango markets in Beijing and Shanghai. The sales volume is expected to exceed 30 million yuan ($4.89 million) in 2014, and the average income of farm households is expected to reach 200,000 yuan. [Photo/Xinhua]
