Steven Wang has more than 20 years of experience in cooking Chinese food and management. He is proficient in cooking Cantonese cuisine, Shandong cuisine and seafood. He is also good at cooking Sichuan cuisine, Hunan cuisine and Huaiyang cuisine. Wang is a creative chef with his own cooking style. He has successfully created several new dishes.
Wang has received foreign heads of state and national political leaders on numerous occasions, having prepared entire banquets for large and small groups with specialty designs to fit the needs of the distinguished guests. He has also participated in numerous live TV cooking competitions and he has won several gold awards.
In 2004, Wang was invited to record the program Cooking Culture, which was a part of an Olympic themed feature produced by CCTV, Hong Kong Phoenix TV, Shanghai Oriental Satellite TV and Shandong TV.
In 2005 and 2006, he was invited to record Lifestyle programs organized by Shandong TV and Qingdao TV, again demonstrating his cooking talent.
Wang has been recognized as a professional in cooking Chinese food by the International Cuisine Master Association. He has also been recognized as a national senior Chinese food chef.
