A press conference announcing a search for female actors for China’s first music and tourism microfilm – I’m Waiting For You in Lijiang – was held in the Old Town of Lijiang on April 6.

The 10-episode microfilm narrated stories behind ten folk songs in Lijiang, and each episode will be shot by different directors and shooting crews. The film will also invite well-known Chinese singers to join, such as Zhou Bichang and Yang Yuying.

The film is scheduled for shooting in mid May, and the audition for actresses will be held at the upcoming Coart Asian Youth Arts Festival, which kicked off on April 23, as well as in Lijiang’s art academies .

Those who are interested in acting can apply to 86 888-5127432 or the microfilm’s official Wechat account: wozaidengni, or get more information from its Weibo account:@我在等你旅游微电影.
