St. Regis Lijiang -Operation smile charity auction held in Beijing

2012 St. Regis Lijiang - Operation smile (Beijing) charity dinner, themed “Extraordinary journey, Brilliant future”, was gorgeously held in Beijing on Sept 9. The activity is the first cooperative charity event by St. Regis Lijiang Residences and Operation Smile, including charity auctions and celebrity performance shows, aimed at providing for the Chinese cleft lip and palate patients charity. A total of over 200 people, including Sir David Aker Jones-chairman of Operation Smile, leaders of various industries and charity celebrities, attended the event.

Luo Lin, president of the Jinlin Group and an investor in St. Regis Lijiang Residence,in Lijiang Yunnan Province,said that the charity event continued the noble 100-year-charity tradition of St. Regis from New York to Lijiang.

The dinner raised a whole sum of 2.62m RMB, which will be all donated to Operation Smile to support the Chinese cleft lip and palate patients program.

Covering more than 250,000 square meters, the St. Regis Lijiang Residences provide services for hotels, business trips, and cultural events. The first phase of construction will be finished in June, 2013 and the hotel will open on July 1, 2014.
