Shenyang to get direct Vladivostok flight

The Shenyang-based subsidiary of China Southern Airlines launched a new route linking Shenyang in Northeast China’s Liaoning province to Vladivostok, Russia on July 31, to satisfy increasing demand from leisure travelers, Chinanews.com.cn reported.
The newly-launched flight is operated by an Airbus A320 and runs every Monday and Friday. The flight takes off from Shenyang Xiantao International Airport at 19:10 Beijing time and arrives in Vladivostok at 23:40 local time. After a one-hour stop at Vladivostok airport, the flight returns to Shenyang at 23:15 Beijing time.
Prices for a round-trip ticket for the newly-launched flight start at 2,410 yuan ($358.64), and the load factor of the first flight hit 85%; with the majority of travelers being tourists.
Vladivostok is Russia’s largest city located in its Far East, as well as being a famous harbor city on the Pacific Ocean. July and August are peak visiting times in Vladivostok, when the temperature is around 20 C.
