The Yangs are by no means an ordinary family. Yang Fushan, the husband, got a spinal curvature at the age of five and his wife, Yang Ping, lost consciousness of the lower half of her body. Yet the family tends a greenbelt of more than 100 square meters. Yang Fushan waters the flowers and his wife, on her wheelchair, brings him food and water. The Yangs feel most satisfied when locals praise the beautiful flowers they grow.

Dandong city is constructing three parks this year. Among them, the Chrysanthemum Hill Park is under construction. The park's ring road is near completion, and the main body of the pavilion at the hilltop is completed. Designing work for the Pearl Hill Park is now under way.
