Jilin research projects awarded with China’s top science prize

Six Jilin province research projects won the country’s highest award for progress in science and technology in Beijing, on January 9.
The province received two second-prize places in the Natural Science Award, and four places in the State Technological Invention Award.
Jilin University was the biggest winner with three awards being given.
A team, led by Zou Guangtian – Director of the State Key Laboratory of Superhard Materials of the University – won the second prize of the natural science award, and two other teams from the same institution were recipients of second places in the State Technological Invention Award.
