A week-long campaign to promote water conservation was held in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu province, from May 10 – 16, to celebrate the 24th National Water Saving Week.

To kick off the campaign and raise awareness of water conservation, 20 volunteers distributed leaflets around the city. The campaign trail visited the Shazhou Professional Institute of Technology and Chengbei Primary School on May 11 and 12. The introduction of water saving techniques, water-conservation-themed art performances and a promotional video helped students learn about water resources and raise awareness of water conservation.

Water authorities have also promoted water conservation around communities and enterprises to encourage residents and office workers to save water during their daily activities.
