A delegation from Harghita county, Romania attended the seventh Chinese Renewable Energy Conference & Exhibition and signed letters of intent with Wuxi on Nov 4, reported xinhuanet.com.
Wuxi Mayor Wang Quan said that Wuxi will pay more attention to economic transformation and upgrades, environmental protection, and external exchange with particular focus on cooperation with the Belt and Road countries and regions, when formulating its development plan from 2016 to 2020.
Both sides will deepen collaboration in culture, tourism, education and sports, and set up platforms to expand economic exchanges and promote investment, he added.
Harghita, in north-central Romania, occupies an area of 6,639 square kilometers. It is renowned for its spa resorts and mineral waters.
