Zhang Feifei, a nine-year-old student has won the first prize in a sci-tech-themed painting competition hosted by Taicang Civilization Office and Taicang Science and Technology Bureau.

The awards ceremony was held on August 3 in Taicang, Jiangsu province. The competition is expected to encourage creativity among teenagers and improve their practical ability so as to inspire their interests in learning and science.

Zhang's painting titled Robot is quite unique and shows that people travel around the world by riding robots.

She explained that she wants to go to many places and it would save lots of time to ride robots to do so, and the robots would take her to swim in the water, run on the land and fly in the sky.

Participants presented vivid and incredible paintings full of creativity by letting their imaginations run wild in this competition. A total of 59 entries were submitted.
