Massive tree-planting activity up north

When a tree-planting activity at an environment protection base in the city of Baotou, Inner Mongolia was announced for April 11, it attracted around 3,000 volunteers who managed to plant about 40,000 saplings in half a day, with Wang Zhonghe, standing member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Inner Mongolia Committee and Baotou municipal Party secretary taking part.
