Inner Mongolian PPP projects hit 73b investment

The Inner Mongolia autonomous region has signed 43 pilot projects on the PPP (Public-Private-Partnership) model in Hohhot, with the total investment hitting 73 billion yuan ($11.76 billion).

These PPP projects, the region’s first group, are located in 10 leagues and cities and involve 14 industries, such as transport, water supply, waste water treatment and affordable housing. Each project has at least 150 million yuan of investment.

According to these agreements, regional financial organs, as well as those at the league and city level, plan to invest 16.88 billion yuan to these projects. Corporate partners will invest a total of 28.88 billion yuan and the financial organizations 27.33 billion yuan.
