Second China-Inner Mongolia Agricultural and Animal Products Expo concludes

The second China-Inner Mongolia Agricultural and Animal Products Expo concluded on August 10. The five-day event witnessed 24.17 million yuan ($ 3.93 million) in total trade value, three times that of the previous session. Cooperation projects worth a total of 670 million yuan are likely to be signed in the future, and 110,000 people visited the expo.

The expo has 15 exhibition zones showcasing 12 cities, husbandry scientific technology achievements and wool products. A total of 765 enterprises and cooperatives attended the expo, up 153 compared with the previous session. They displayed 4,830 kinds of dairy, meat, wool, food, oil and yam products, all organic and pollution-free.

The exhibitors included leading companies at State, autonomous region and city levels, and middle and small-sized enterprises, demonstration zones and cooperatives that were all certified as organic, green, and pollution-free agricultural and animal products providers. They have good development prospects.

The results of the evaluation for famous Inner Mongolia agricultural and animal products and the package design competition was held during the event, and a total of 143 products and 86 package designs stood out. At the same time, a multigrain industrial forum and a brand strategy symposium were held, and well-known experts were invited to give lectures to more than 700 guests. They acted as an information channel and high-level communication platform for the healthy development of local agriculture and animal husbandry.

This year, the event increased green and pollution-free agriculture and animal husbandry products and upgraded its market competitiveness. It played a positive role in expanding local agriculture and animal husbandry products to outside areas and deepening mutual cooperation in relevant fields. The expo will push forward scale, industrial, intensive and standard development of agriculture and animal husbandry in Inner Mongolia.
