Overseas returnee forum held in Changsha

The fifth Overseas Returnee Forum began in Changsha on Oct 13, attracting more than 100 high-level overseas talents and overseas Chinese seeking opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship.
The three-day forum carries out various forms of talent exchange, as well as projects and capital linkage activities, including TED talks, an overseas talents fair, forums on work experience exchanges of overseas Chinese associations, and job fairs for overseas students.
Yan Xiaopei, vice chairman of the Central Committee of the Zhi Gong Party, said that the Zhi Gong Party has been a participating party for more than 90 years. Overseas Chinese and returnees make up the bulk of the Zhi Gong Party. The party strives to help overseas returnees resettle in China.
Hu Xusheng, chairman of the Hunan Committee of the China Zhi Gong Party, said that the Hunan Committee has held four overseas returnee forums and supported the growth of enterprises established by overseas students, such as Huateng Pharmaceutical. The forums also facilitated the establishment of the Hunan Service Alliance for Overseas Returnees and the Overseas Advisory Group for the Development of Hunan Province.
In order to further strengthen ties with overseas talents and expand the influence of the overseas returnee forum, the Hunan Committee of China Zhi Gong Party signed cooperation framework agreements with the North American Zhi Gong Association, the Hong Kong Zhi Gong Association, Ansheng Education Group, and more.
China Zhi Gong Party is mainly composed of the upper and middle classes of returned overseas Chinese and their relatives, as well as other noted figures who have overseas ties. The party has united and guided returned overseas Chinese and their relatives to actively engage in the modernization drive of the Chinese motherland. It has enhanced communications with Chinese students studying abroad and those who have returned after studying in foreign countries, and encouraged them to return home to serve their motherland in different ways. The China Zhi Gong Party has now established local organizations in provinces and cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Yunnan, Sichuan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Liaoning, Hunan, Hubei, Anhui, Shandong, Hainan, Guizhou, Shaanxi, and Henan.
