Sunward Intelligent signs $376m projects with ASEAN countries

Changsha-based Sunward Intelligent Equipment Group organized a project presentation activity at its industrial base in Xingsha, the county seat of Changsha county on March 31, for the business representatives of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
The engineering machinery company signed projects with representatives from Malaysia, Myanmar and Laos, with the contract value reaching $376 million. The fields of cooperation include engineering design, construction contracting, engineering and agriculture equipment.
He Qinghua, chairman of Sunward Intelligent said on the occasion that the company has established business ties with ASEAN countries since 2005. So far, it has built branches in Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Myanmar.
The annual growth rate of Sunward's trade volume in that region remains 30 to 40 percent, said the chairman. He also added that the company plans to further expand the ASEAN business market.
