1. Trip along the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River and Shennongjia

The Three Gorges of the Yangtze River is one of the top ten scenic attractions of China. It has long been called a “landscape gallery” and enjoys a reputation for its magnificent, beautiful and precipitous natural landscape and profound culture.

This year, the Three Gorges Hydro Project will be complete. The Three Gorges will gradually develop from a pure sightseeing area to a multifunctional tourist area combining sightseeing, leisure and ecological tourism. The soul-stirring Chuanjiang chant, the masculine boat trackers towing a boat, the time-honored singing and dancing in Qu Yuan’s hometown and the colorful folk custom add cultural charms to the Three Gorges.

It takes over two hours via water to arrive at Shennongjia, the largest primitive forest in Central China. Shennongjia is one of the most famous primitive forests and natural reserves in China and a member of the International Man and Biosphere Reserve Network of UNESCO. The mysterious legend of the “wild man”, the agile and lovely golden monkeys, the strange albino animals, the rivers without a destination and other unsolved secrets add a sense of mystery to the area.
