China-based vendor Konka has announced that it plans to join an open bid for a 370,000-square-meter lot of land in Kunshan City, China. Market watchers believe the land will be used to expand its LCD module (LCM) production, according to a Chinese-language Sina.com.cn report.

The reported noted that at Konka's current LCM capacity in Kunshan has exceed one million units.
