The 2011 list of top 10 leisure cities in China was announced by the China Tourism Association. They are: Qingdao in eastern Shandong province, Hangzhou in eastern Zhejiang province, Chengdu in southwestern Sichuan province, Yantai in eastern Shandong province, Sanya in southern Hainan province, Huangshan in eastern Anhui province, Shanghai, Ningbo in eastern Zhejiang province, Qinhuangdao in northern Hebei province and Xi'an in northern Shaanxi province. The result was published by the China Tourism Association on Oct 17, 2011.
