A photography and fashion show themed on Guizhou's rich ethnic elements was held in Tokyo on Oct 27 to mark the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Japan.
More than 160 representatives of the two countries gathered in the Japan-China Friendship Center to attend the show.
Consisting of photos and costumes with ethnic elements from the southwest Chinese province, the show has attracted hundreds of Japanese since it opened on Oct 14.
Some 40 photos by Chinese photographer Feng Xuemin were selected to display the unique scenery and local customs of Guizhou.
"I hope that more Japanese will be interested in Guizhou's rich splendor of ethnic culture through my photographs," said Feng.
The show also displayed 25 sets of traditional ethnic costumes of the Miao, Yi and Dong ethnic groups.
