Guizhou province, in southern China, one of the country's poorest, has begun putting a nutrition improvement project for children in less developed regions into practice in 25 counties as a crucial public health service under the new medical reforms.
Its ultimate goal is to increase awareness and methods of more scientific ways of feeding children and raising the parenting level to fundamentally change the situation with children's health and, the 25 counties that implement the project will get free nutrition bags that contain vitamins, minerals and protein products for infants aged 6-18 months.
