Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region announced its second batch of major projects for 2021 at the end of March.

Among these 272 major projects, 15 are in Hechi with a combined planned investment of 8.3 billion yuan ($1.3 billion).

The Liumei Scenic Area project in Yizhou's Gulong River Scenic Area will, according to plans, contain tourist attractions such as sightseeing on Jiutou Mountain and along the Xiajian River.

The Bama Fund Digital Town, which started construction on April 12, 2020, was another one of Hechi's 15 projects. The town will have facilities such as a 5G+ future laboratory and a base for Huawei smart wearable products in its 56,000 square meter area.

Bama Cifu (Blessing) Lake will see an expansion of 134,000 sq m for facilities such as cultural tourism facilities and a comprehensive management center.
