Zheng Renhao was newly appointed as the secretary of the CPC (Communist Party of China) Zhanjiang Municipal Committee and nominated as the director of the standing committee of the Zhanjiang Municipal People's Congress at a leadership conference held on March 16.

Zheng Renhao was former mayor of Zhuhai and deputy secretary of the CPC Zhuhai Municipal Committee. He will serve as a member of the CPC Zhanjiang Municipal Committee and its standing committee.

Former Zhanjiang Party Secretary Wei Hongguang will work for a government department directly under Guangdong province.
