Introduction of China Eastern Air Holding Company
Headquartered in Shanghai, China Eastern Air Holding Company (CEAH) is among China's three major air transportation groups.
CEAH operates a fleet of over 510 aircraft, serves 80 million passengers globally every year and ranks in the top ten of many operating indexes including fleet size and passenger volume.
As a member of the SkyTeam Alliance, CEA has, through connecting with the Alliance, built an air network starting from the Shanghai hub and reaching 1052 destinations in 177 countries and regions around the world.
CEAH has evolved into an integrated service system focusing on the core business of civil passenger and cargo transportation, as well as a range of additional businesses including general aviation, aviation catering, import and export, financial futures, advertising media and industrial investment.
China Eastern Airlines Co., Ltd. (CEA) as the core of CEAH became the first Chinese airlines to be listed on the New York, Hong Kong and Shanghai stock exchange in 1997.
