Fujian Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau announced to launch the trial operation of an all-in-one inspection and quarantine certificate among importers and exporters in its cities, including Pingtan, as of March 8, ptnet.cn reported on March 15.
Officials said that the certificate, which integrates the previous multiple certificates into one, contains all the information required to go through the inspection and quarantine procedure. It is expected to make the application and approval procedures much simpler and greatly improve work efficiency.
Pingtan has set up a service window to handle local companies' application of the all-in-one certificate at its Pingtan Closure building and Aoqian Port comprehensive service building respectively, said Chen Hong, an official of local entry-exit inspection and quarantine bureau.
Chen explained that companies can apply for the certificate at the service window and will obtain it, once their applications get approved.
Local import and export companies also spoke highly of this new measure. Two first beneficiaries were Pingtan Lvsheng Comprehensive Agriculture Co and Fuzhou Jinfulin Food Co.
Shi Liping, a staff member of Lvsheng said that she can complete the entire application procedures at one service window without going to different departments like before, which is a real time-saver.
