Ningde's GDP increases 8.7% in H1

During the first half year of 2015, Ningde's GDP rose 8.7 percent to 59 billion yuan ($9.5 billion), with six indices' growth rate top Fujian province's lists, according to a meeting in Ningde on July 16.

Over the past six months, added value of industrial enterprises with annual revenue of 20 million yuan or more and agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery industry, gross export value, actual use of foreign investment, public fiscal revenue and general consumer price index, Ningde ranked highly in Fujian.

Among them, the total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery industry grew 4.3 percent to 1.52 billion yuan; exports increased 23.9 percent to 15.54 billion and the amount of foreign investment in actual use rose 31.2 percent to $126 million.

In industrial manufacture, Ningde's added value of industrial enterprises with annual revenue of 20 million yuan or more hit 35.50 billion yuan, a steady growth of 9.5 percent over 2014.

In industrial development, eight major industries in Ningde yielded 133.51 billion yuan, up 10.4 percent compared to 2014. It raised the growth of industrial enterprises with annual revenue of 20 million yuan or more by 9.1 percentage points.
