Ten sets of mobile speed sensors will be put into service in the earlier of next year to capture traffic illegal actions in Jinjiang, Fujian province, such as speeding, learnt from local traffic police bureau recently.
In the size of a computer case, each set of mobile speed sensors will have a camera, a screen and a lithium battery. It is one of the most advanced speed sensors in China, with its high definition, high sensitivity and high integration technology, introduced by an official in the charge of the equipment.
Unlike traditional equipment, which relies on placing cameras by the roadside and transmitting data to the screen and vehicle power supply by wire, the new advanced equipment in Jinjiang integrates all the functions in its case, showing its superiority of easy operation and strong controllability.
Jinjiang has invested more than 1 million yuan ($156,500) in the ten sets of mobile speed sensors. In addition, with its wireless transmission function, officials can monitor the local traffic in real time and respond quickly when accident happens.
