Jinjiang is transforming its development methods with the idea of having a more modern structure in five traditional industries -- textiles and garments, footwear, ceramics and construction materials, food and beverages, and paper products -- and five of its newer emerging industries -- hi-tech equipment and machinery, new materials, photo-electricity information, marine life, and package printing -- and four of its modern service industries -- financial services, R&D, commercial logistics, and tourism. The city wants to establish an industrial innovation system and is looking for talented, innovative personnel.
