Founded in 2005, the annual book fair is held alternately in Taiwan and Fujian's coastal city of Xiamen.

It has been an important platform for cross-Straits copyright exchanges, as statistics show a total of 2,360 cooperation agreements have been signed at the previous book fairs.

The 14th Cross-Straits Book Fair will be held in Taiwan from Aug 16 to 23
