XI'AN -The Chang'an Tower has become a new landmark in this capital of Northwest China’s Shaanxi province after the tower’s lighting ceremony was held in the Xi'an Horticultural Park on the evening of Jan17, 2011.

After eight months of construction, the tower with a height of 99 meters stands by the beautiful Bahe River in Xi’an and presents a brilliant night scene.

Construction of the tower with the architecture style of the Sui and Tang dynasties (618-907AD) was approved in June 2009. Construction started three months later and was finshed in the middle of last month.
