Research Report No. 169, 2017 (Total. 5244) 2017-12-7

Abstract: The questionnaire survey results collected from 1495 entrepreneurs show that most entrepreneurs believe that the current macroeconomic performance is normal which is quite rare in the past. According to their views, the production and business sales are gradually picking up; the level of inventory buildups is normal; the profits of enterprises have improved; the business volume has become obviously rebounded; the structural differentiation in terms of the development of industrial scale in different regions is significant. The entrepreneurs’ comments on business development are the best in the past five years. With regard to their expectations for the future, they believe that future market demand will keep rising steadily; prices will keep surging and labor demand will increase moderately, especially for the employment of college students; confidence in investment has been enhanced; and the overall prospects for business development are optimistic. In face of the fact that business climate index keeps booming, the entrepreneurs' expectations for the future macroeconomic performance are relatively objective. It is expected that China's economic growth will remain stable in 2018. Entrepreneurs hope that China’s GDP growth in 2018 will be round about 6.5%.
