Li Wei, President of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), signed a joint statement with Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development(OECD), in Beijing Diaoyutai State Guesthouse on March 19, confirminglaunch of a new project with a theme of green growth under the background of China’s transformation and upgrading.

The project will put forward policy recommendations on how to promote coordinated development of industry transformation and green growth on the basis of research in four areas, namely, monitoringof China's green growth progress, transforming and upgrading of heavy chemical industries, driving green growth through new technology and promoting the reform of green growth’s policies and systems.

The research result will be jointly released by DRC and OECD at the 2017 China Development Forum.
