Xi'an, the capital city of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, has been included in China's top 10 most characteristic tourist cities recently, according to an online survey on "List of Chinese Cities 2010: China's tourist cities favored by global netizens."

The other nine Chinese cities included in the list are Harbin, Hangzhou, Huangshan, Jinan, Kashi, Lijiang, Luoyang, Sanya and Suzhou.
