An epic TV series entitled “Daming Palace” with five episodes was recently broadcast at 9:25 pm on the Discovery Program on CCTV-10.

The TV series has thoroughly presented the story of Daming Palace, the world’s largest palace complex in timber structure, from its construction to its tragic destruction.

According to historical records, the palace was the power and cultural center in the Tang dynasty (AD 618-907), which is also re-examined with broader perspectives in the series by unveiling its outstanding flourishing and rich cultural connotations.

Watching the TV series, audiences can also add to their knowledge of the Tang dynasty by learning the exciting stories of 36 historical figures and 55 important events.
