Xi'an Special Day is held at the City Square of Shanghai Expo Garden on August 16.

Xi'an Party Committee Secretary Sun Qingyun presented Chang'an Flower, the mascot of 2011 Xi’an World Horticultural Exposition, to Shangai's Deputy Mayor Zhao Wen. And Zhao presented Haibao, the mascot of 2010 Shanghai Expo, in return.

Spokeswoman Yan Ni promoted the 2011 Xi'an World Horticultural Exposition briefly and sincerely invited visitors to travel to Xi'an.

A grand performance, "Sun and Moon in Daming Palace," is set to hit the stage. "Flying to the Sky," "The Six Horses of Zhaoling Tomb" and "Spring Outing" will be included.

In addition, the artists from Xi'an will put on two artistic performances each day at the City Square from August 16 to August 20.
