235 Sound Mark Applications Received Following Implementation of the Revised Chinese Trademark Law

The Chinese Trademark Office (CTMO) has announced that by the end of June 2015 there had been 235 applications for sound marks in China.

The announcement was made as part of events to mark the first anniversary of revisions to the Chinese Trademark Law. The revised Law introduced protection for sound marks in China for the first time.
