Yiwu Announces Specialist Tribunal for E-commerce Disputes

The city of Yiwu in Zhejiang Province has announced a new e-commerce tribunal to be incorporated into its People's Court.

Yiwu is a major trading location for Chinese exports, covering large volumes of on- and offline transactions. The e-commerce tribunal will hear civil and commercial disputes regarding online trading and work with the Internet Society of China to facilitate mediation services as an alternative to court proceedings.
