Jiangsu: Unwise Fakes Near Confucius Temple

A souvenir shop near Confucius Temple in the provincial capital Nanjing was fined 5,000 yuan ($817) by the local industry and commerce administration for selling counterfeit goods after enforcement officials found 75 faked Samsung earphones and 10 Coca-Cola mugs. The shop owner said he bought the counterfeits in the Yiwu small commodities market and did not realize the trademark infringement problems.
