Qingdao to hold northeast Asia copyright trade fair

Qingdao will host the Northeast Asia Copyright Creativity Fine Products & Trade Fair (CTF) in November. Five exhibit halls will be opened featuring news publishing, cartoon games, movie and TV music, fine arts and industrial design. The fair aims to attract mid and high-end creative businesses in Northeast Asia.

Besides the exhibition, a competition themed “My Dream” will be held from August to November targeting the people age 12 to 35. They will be asked to design comics and cartoons as well as to compose original songs. In each of these three categories, contestants are grouped by age into a student group and an adult group. In the end, the top contestants of each group will be awarded gold, silver and bronze medals. The winning works can also receive copyright registration free of charge.
