In Weixian county of North China’s Hebei province, every village is allocated a rural coordinator who is responsible for checking food and medicine, helping law enforcement officials, and publicizing food safety.
For the same purpose, villagers in supervision and regulation networks at the village level are selected to conduct troubleshooting in restaurants, pharmacies and supermarkets.
