Types of civil rights and interests and principles of relief protected by the tort liability law

According to the provisions of the Tort Liability Law, the civil rights and interests protected by this Law include, inter alia, the right to life, the right to health, the right to name, the right to reputation, the right to honor, right to self-image, right of privacy, marital autonomy, guardianship, ownership, usufruct, security interest, copyright, patent right, exclusive right to use a trademark, right to discovery, equities, and right of succession.

According to the provisions of Tort Liability Law, when the civil rights and interests of a civil subject are infringed, the victim shall be entitled to request the tortfeasor to bear tort liability. Where the tortfeasor shall bear administrative liability or criminal liability for the same conduct, it shall not affect the bearing of tort liability in accordance with the law. Where the assets of a tortfeasor are not adequate for payments for tort liability, administrative liability and criminal liability for the same conduct, the tortfeasor shall first assume the tort liability.
