Hung Hsiu-chu, chairwoman of Taiwan's Kuomintang party, visited the Zhongguacnun Makers Center in Beijing on Nov 1 and participated in a Taiwan youth symposium, discussing entrepreneurship in mainland China with the Taiwan entrepreneurs in Zhongguancun.
Hung Hsiu-chu said young entrepreneurs seldom receive much support during their early years, and mainland China is an opportunity for Taiwanese to develop and start their own business thanks to the good entrepreneurial environment.
She encouraged entrepreneurs to bring the experiences they gain in mainland China to Taiwan and stressed that young people from Taiwan should help and take care of each other in Beijing.
