Jilin people express their views on 19th CPC National Congress
Many passengers carefully watched the opening session of the 19th CPC National Congress on the screen at Changchun Station, Jilin province, on Oct 18.
"I was leaving for Qiqihar, Heilongjiang province. I thought I would miss the Congress. Luckily, I could watch it through the screen at the station," 65-year-old Mu Guirong said.
"My family is a low-income family (whose income is under the city low-income standard because of disability or disease) and my life has improved a lot because of the government's policies."

Chen Zhiyuan, a new graduate who is now considering starting up his own business, said he pays a lot of attention to education and employment.
"Entrepreneurship-driven employment was mentioned in the report delivered at the Congress, which makes graduates like me full of hope."
Retired communist Zhao Haibin expressed his excitement about a rising China and said rural migrant workers in cities should learn more skills and contribute to the construction of the country.
Many passengers at Changchun Station were excited about the Congress and had their own opinions on the topics mentioned in its opening report.
They also sent their wishes for a better China in all aspects including the environment, living standards, and health and medical treatment levels.
