It's not the first time she has been overshadowed Deyn, who has emerged as a playful, fun-loving, fresh-faced alternative to Moss, who's alleged drug-use, hard-partying and occasional poor choice of company appears to be catching up on her.

Deyn also took over from the 34-year-old in the latest campaign for luxury brand Burberry.

The pixie-haired blonde, whose real name is Laura Hollins, stole the spotlight at London Fashion Week in September and has also been named Model of the Year.

She has featured on the cover of Time magazine and fashion house Zara has even ordered mannequins designed around her.

Tatler noted: "Whether she's sipping chai at the Russian Tea Rooms in Primrose Hill or kicking back at Henry Holland's studio. She's fash-fabulous... Rockin'."

While few have disputed her star quality, she did cause something of a stir last year after it was revealed she was a number of years older than first thought.
