Spring break: Encourage kids to get closer to nature

Here is a challenge: can you tell the difference between plum, cherry and peach blossom trees?

Put down those electronic devices and head out to the park! Discover new plants and learn to distinguish similar looking ones.

For families with older kids, encourage them to make a table to summarize the characteristics of each. It will be a good opportunity to not only learn about flowers, but also on observation and analysis.
