Chinese medical team to treat congenital heart-disease children in Myanmar
A Chinese medical team is due to arrive in Yangon later on Monday to launch an action plan aimed at saving children in Myanmar suffering from congenital heart disease.
The first transnational love trip of its kind, is sponsored by the China Charity Association and Beijing An Zhen Hospital and is organized by the Media Circle Charity Promotion Association (MCCPA).
The launching of the China Charity Association's action plan in Myanmar is aimed at implementing the advocation of the belt and road initiative to enable Myanmar people share the achievement of the belt and road and to contribute to the enhancement of China-Myanmar friendship.
Leader of the medical team Xu Yixuan, who is also chief executive of the MCCPA and an initiator of the action plan, disclosed that the action plan is to treat 50 Myanmar children suffering from congenital heart disease and the
Beijing An Zhen Hospital will be responsible for the screening of the disease during the pre-period and the post-treatment period.
The Chinese medical team is scheduled to launch the screening of 50 Myanmar child patients with congenital heart disease at a children hospital in Yankin township in Yangon on Tuesday under its rescue action plan.
