The National Research Center for Modern Art is holding its inaugural show at National Art Museum of China in Beijing.
Running until Oct 8, the exhibition includes two sections - British art historian Michael Sullivan and his research into 20th Century Chinese art, and the road of Chinese modern fine arts.
With numerous artwork, manuscript, archives, news clippings, books, and videos, the exhibition briefly chronicles the achievements of the art circle in the research on Chinese modern art over the past decades.
