Slovenia to show harmonious integration at Expo 2010

There are many people from neighboring countries that visit or live in Slovenia every day. Although they have different languages, cultures and living habits, the country gives them the chance to live harmoniously and happily. The country wanted to share these experiences at the Expo, SaSa Layic, the country’s commissioner general for World Expo 2010, today told Shanghai Daily after signing a contract with Expo organizers in Shanghai. Slovenia shares borders with Croatia, Hungary, Austria and Italy. The country will also interpret the“integration”from the angle of the country’s beautiful landscape, Layic added. Slovenia is known for its forests, mountains and plains. With proper planning and management, these elements make for a beautiful country, said Layic. Slovenia will take the Expo as an opportunity to arouse interest in the country from people from around the world, Layic said. She told Shanghai Daily that the country may make a movie to be screened during Expo 2010. Slovenia confirmed its participation at Expo 2010 on June 17. It will rent a 1,000 square meter space for its exhibit.
