China Int'l Tea Expo to open in Beijing

The 11th China International Tea Expo will be held at the National Agriculture Exhibition Center in Beijing from Oct 31 to Nov 3.

Organized around the theme "Tea Life," this year's tea expo features many interactive activities. For example, citizens can bring their tea sets to the expo to be appraised by experts. Visitors will also be able to view the very rare boccaro ware produced by the time-honored Yixing Boccaro Ware Factory.

During the expo, there will be an auction for fine teas and tea sets. The Lao She Teahouse, a traditional teahouse in Beijing, will organize six activities inviting visitors to enjoy tea while listening to lectures by tea experts.
