Bottega Veneta recently presented a traveling installation Behind the Intrecciato in Shanghai. The exhibition pays tribute to its heritage using some of its most iconic offering: the Veneta, the Cabat and the Knot. The installation allows visitors to enter the handbags and understand its craftsmanship and creativity. The event is part of the celebration of 50th anniversary of the brand's founding and marks 15 years since Tomas Maier became its creative director.
Montblanc wins
Montblanc's M writing-instrument collection recently won the Red Dot: Best of the Best 2016 Award, one of the most recognized awards in the design world. The collection is a collaboration between Montblanc and Australian designer Marc Newson. It is a combination of Montblanc's fine writing culture and the distinctive design language of Marc Newson, representing a new generation of writing instruments, the jury says.
