Asia Arts Festival highlights Mongolia's ethnic culture

The Nadam Festival, usually held from June 4 to 9 (lunar calendar), is one of the most exciting and colorful festivals in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. At the center of the festivities are the horse racing, archery and wrestling competitions, the traditional sports of the Mongolian warriors.  The Naadam Festival in Ordos this year is also a part of the ongoing 11th Asian Arts Festival, which provides chances for exchanging arts of different forms and promotes cultural intercourse between China and other Asian nations.[Xinhua]
